Antony K. Haynes is Counsel in the Firm and Group Head of the Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Practice Group. He brings nearly 30 years of experience to the firm and advises clients on cybersecurity and data privacy issues.

Antony is Associate Professor of Law and Associate Dean for Strategic Initiatives at Albany Law School, where he created the Online Graduate School as well as the Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Program. He has trained hundreds of senior leaders in business and government on cybersecurity and data privacy, and has been a guest lecturer at Harvard University, University of Maryland, State University of New York, and other institutions.

Previously, Antony practiced at two large global law firms, where he handled matters involving national security, commercial litigation, and intellectual property.  He has advised technology companies on business and legal strategy, and has helped raise seed funding for new ventures.

Antony was a professor of computer science at the Air Force Academy, where he developed the Academy’s cybersecurity curriculum and also helped create the inter-Academy cyber defense exercise. While in the U.S. Air Force, he served as an Intelligence Officer, where he focused on planning offensive cyber operations and defensive cyber operations.
