Laura G. Alcott, Partner and Co-Chair of the Real Estate Department, specializes in real property law and advises the firm’s clients on various aspects of commercial and residential real estate matters.

Transactions range from smaller residential purchases and sales to sophisticated multi-million dollar commercial transactions, comprising multiple commercial buyers located both within and outside the state of New York, and involving large scale leases and complex financing.

Ms. Alcott has substantial experience negotiating, drafting, and reviewing contracts for conveyances, working through issues of title, and analyzing and negotiating loan documents on behalf of borrowers in major commercial real estate purchases and mortgage refinances.

Ms. Alcott is also the founder of Women in Real Estate (WIRE), an organization of realtors, attorneys, mortgage specialist and other Westchester County real estate professionals who meet regularly in order to advance their careers through networking, education and open round table discussions.

Laura has been selected for inclusion in the New York Metro Super Lawyers ® list for Real Estate.
