Mr. Chivily has 30 years of experience sourcing business and representing national, regional and local commercial banks, investment banks and other types of lending institutions in all types of mortgage and commercial finance transactions, restructuring, workouts, commercial real estate, construction, and asset based lending.

He has completed major transactions in New York, with a specialty in NYC and the boroughs, Westchester and Connecticut and closed transactions out of state with local counsel consulting. His clients include a variety of institutional lenders, investment bank firms, developers, mortgage banking firms, closely held and public corporations, limited liability companies, real estate management and operating companies, loan servicing companies and municipalities.

Mr. Chivily has extensive experience representing lenders and borrowers in all aspects of restructuring, negotiating, documenting and closing commercial loans, with emphasis on bankruptcy considerations. He has closed leasehold mortgage construction and permanent loan financings, shopping center acquisition financing, multifamily mortgage loan transactions, corporate and owner occupied mortgage loans, large syndicated credit transactions, revolving credit and corporate loans, including syndicated credits, leveraged buy outs, private equity and related transactions with business banking and middle market customers.
