We congratulate Scott Locke, Chair of the Intellectual Property at Dorf & Nelson on his most recent publication, “The Invention Secrecy Act: The USPTO as a Gatekeeper of National Security”. In the article, Scott explores the process by which the USPTO reviews patent applications for inventions that relate to national security issues and the implications for inventors who develop these types of inventions.
