Michael John Willey is an Associate in the Litigation Department, where his focus is in commercial foreclosure and title matters. Mr. Willey graduated from Albany Law School, Cum Laude, and earned an award for his Concentration in International Law. Michael received his undergraduate degree from Arizona State University, obtaining the honor of magna cum laude, with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Minors in Justice Studies and Communications, with Certificates in International Politics and Civic Education.
Mr. Willey enlisted in Active Duty with the United States Navy upon graduating from high school. He served onboard the USS Carl Vinson from 2003-2008 as the Intelligence Security Manager in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. After his active duty commitment, Michael remained in the United States Navy Reserves during his collegiate years as the Intelligence Command Administrative Yeoman in service to Navy Reserve, Naval Intelligence Operational Center, North Island and subsequently, Navy Reserve Naval Intelligence Operational Center, Hawaii-Phoenix. During his time at Albany Law School, Michael was also activated and deployed to Djibouti, Africa for a year and a half, where he served as the Special Security Officer for the Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa.
