Kaitlyn A. Furrer is an Associate in the firm’s Litigation Department and Healthcare & General Liability Defense Group. She represents individuals and institutional clients in complex, high exposure claims in the areas of medical malpractice and general liability. She has experience managing all stages of litigation from inception through trial and appeal if necessary and also has significant alternative dispute resolution experience.
Prior to joining Dorf Nelson & Zauderer LLP, Ms. Furrer was Of Counsel at an insurance defense firm where she honed her litigation skills in the areas of professional liability, medical malpractice, New York labor law and insurance coverage matters.
Ms. Furrer serves as Vice President of the Daws Animal Welfare Society and as a mentor in the Manhattan College Mentor Program.
