Kenneth S. Oliver is a partner in the Firm’s Litigation Department and Co-Group Head of the Healthcare & General Liability Defense Group where he represents clients in jury trials of complex liability matters.
As a battle tested litigator for over four decades, Mr. Oliver defends major teaching hospitals, medical practices, individual physicians and nursing homes in high exposure lawsuits, and also represents physicians in professional disciplinary actions.
He is an integral member in the medical malpractice community, being a member of the New York State Medical Malpractice Defense Bar Association and enhancing the field by developing and implementing defense strategies for individual healthcare professionals and institutions. He also has expertise with complex general liability claims. Being well regarded in the legal community, he provides continuing legal education at local as well as national bar associations and lectures on risk management issues at various healthcare institutions.
